What services are offered?

Currently we’re offering: Lactation Consults, postpartum meal delivery, postpartum doula services, housecleaning/laundry, mental health support and an opportunity for you to submit prayer requests. All of these services are brought to the convenience of your home or done virtually.

How long can I receive services?

These services are primarily meant to serve those who are postpartum. You’re eligible to receive services from the time you give birth up to 12 weeks postpartum.

Do I have to be pregnant to get support?

We work with anyone who’s given birth, this includes those who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth.

How do I qualify?

Anew Life is working to give access to abundant postpartum support to those who need it most. We’re primarily serving the low-income community of Los Angeles County and will be expanding to other areas in the future.

When should I apply?

We strongly encourage moms to apply during their 2nd trimester so you’re set up and ready to go with the services before your sweet baby arrives. However, we do accept applications up until 1 week after you give birth.

How are appointments scheduled for services?

We don’t schedule or coordinate any appointments between you and the service provider. Once you receive your grant award it’s up to the client to schedule.

We’re also not responsible nor liable for any missed appointments. Services must be used by your 12th week postpartum and are non-transferable, non-refundable and do not roll over for use past the 12th week.

Are these services only for me?

Yes, these postpartum services are for you only, and can’t be shared or used on someone else’s behalf. Verification will be done for each application.

How do I apply?

How long can I provide services?

From the time the mom gives birth up until 12 weeks postpartum.

How does payment work?

ACH direct deposit or check, direct deposit can take up to 5 days to process and checks up to 14 days.

When will I receive payment?

Once the client’s funding agreement is in place you’ll receive an email confirmation. Then, you will be able to submit an invoice for payment to accounting. Payment is issued within 20-40 days of receipt of the invoice and confirmation of service received by the client.

What is Anew Life responsible and liable for?

Our practitioners and providers are not hired staff. We’re not responsible for appointments, location of the service, the care between the provider and client. We only make payments directly to the provider on behalf of the client. We only refer and provide financial support.
